On-Line Plant Maintenance

On-Line Plant Maintenance

Removing the need for a separate routine maintenance package, Prodigy's on-line plant maintenance facility allows pictures, drawings, manuals, sounds and video footage to be incorporated into the plant mimic displays.

 

Network Connectivity

Prodigy's open system architecture and use of Microsoft's peer to peer networking allows Prodigy to share information through the company's computer network.

Remote Workstation - Allows a master Prodigy server to be accessed remotely via the standard office network. This allows any number of remote PCs to view the displays and information from the server, simultaneously, without disturbing the user of the main Prodigy system.

Interconnect Stations - Provides a distributed system capability. This allows data to be shared by multiple Prodigy servers and can be configured to allow any Interconnect Station access to signal values from any other part of the system process. This is the backbone behind Prodigy's Distributed Control System (DCS) capability.

Modem Support Pack - Allows Prodigy systems to be supported remotely from Tascomp.
